For 2008, we have defined four membership levels in the CSA. We believe that these offer excellent value,
both in terms of supplying our members with an abundance of delicious, fresh produce, and also in terms of helping to
sustain a vital local agricultural presence in our community. Because of our CSA's low altitude and location in the
southern tier of the state, we often have several weeks longer growing season than many other farms, enhancing the
value further.
Support the Farm Share:
This share type is for individuals and/or families that are able to give a bit more
to compensate for others who have less; to provide a living wage for our
farmers; and to allow fl exibility for infrastructure and special project expenses.
$1000 / season allows for twice weekly pickups of produce.
Double Share:
This membership is ideal for a family. Twice a week pickups ensure a bounty
of fresh produce throughout the season. By picking up every 3-4 days, busy
moms and dads can have the flexibility to prepare meals at the last minute,
rather than planning a week ahead. Individuals and families serious about
eating only local foods will love the Double share.
$630 / season allows for twice weekly pickups of produce.
Single Share:
This membership is perfect for a single person dining stylishly, or a couple who
goes light on the veggies. One pickup per week is convenient for people with
busy lifestyles who still crave the delicious fresh produce that can only be found
at a local organic farm. $450 allows a single weekly pickup on either Tuesday or Saturday.
Working Share:
This membership is great for people who really want to get their hands dirty on
the farm. The Working share requires a commitment of 4 adult hours per week
for four months (anytime between April 1 and November 1).
Working members are eligible for one pickup per week, but more often take
their produce when they are working at the farm. A limited number of
Working shares are available, please contact the farm if you are interested.
Payment arrangements will be available for those who prefer to spread their share price over several payments.
Early payment discounts are available for members who are able to pay in full by February 15. See brochure for
discount rates.
Contributions: Contributions of any kind toward accomplishing the goals of the CSA are always welcome. T
hese can be in the form of money, time, talent, or just plain love and encouragement! Recognizing
that people seem to be very busy, we do not have a 'work requirement', but we encourage members to help as they
are able with the farming to enhance their connection with the land and with other members of the CSA community.
If you would like to volunteer your time - please call Abby at 831-1972. Members are welcome at the farm before or after the traditional work day, Monday through Friday, as well as Saturdays.
In addition to produce pickups, local eggs, milk and meat are available for members to pick up at the farm.
This year, we hope to add baked goods and granola. If you have any recommendations for other locally grown or
produced add-ons - please let us know!
